Event Secretary Chris Wallis reported on Friday afternoon that one hundred and seventy seven riders have booked a date with Feldom Range on October 23. This year will be an epic because James Dabill aims for his first Scott Trial victory but along the way he will have to beat the Scott king Graham Jarvis and Dougie Lampkin, along with Alexz Wigg and Michael Brown. Add in Jonathan Richardson and newcomer Richard Sadler, on a full blown MRS Sherco 290 plus all the regular front runners and sparks will fly in Swaledale. If Dougie Lampkin and Graham Jarvis decide to have another Scott outing the spectator attendance will be massive. Bruce Storr and the Richmond Motor Club work force have been in action for weeks while Bernadette Tennant has worked hard to surpass last year's quality programme. Any intending sponsors desiring to add their names to the trial, and swell the annual charitable donations, should act immediately.
