Mansfield Maun M.C.C. stages their annual Ladies and Girls Training Day at Bracken Rocks, Holloway, on March 13. For the adults the date ties in nicely with the national Bemrose Trial at High Edge the following day. This joint venture training session, financed partly by the A.C.U., starts at 11. 00 with a two hour period then a lunch halt when the trainers, Richard Allen, Dan Thorpe, Richard Timperley and Mick Boam, change teams of riders. The restart is at 13.30 and will end at 16.00. The catering unit will be in attendance. Mansfield could do with more support to keep this important training day viable. British champion Becky Cook heads the entry list with Joanne Coles, Hannah Styles, Emma Morphett, Chloe and Niamh Richardson, Lianda Dabill, Kate Hunter, Nikita Smith, Simone Wallis, Niki Wraight, Charlotte Kimber, Natalie Harris, Phoebe Hallam and Jess Bown.
