Ripon Motor Club held their annual award presentation dinner at the Millstones Restaurant, Felliscliffe on the 29^th. January 2010. 147 Members and their families were present to see the award winners collect their trophies. Many of the awards went to youngsters as the club prides itself in encouraging these junior members in the sport of motorcycle trials. It is very important to gain their interest as they hopefully will become the adult competitors and helpers of the future. The seven event, 2009 Summer Series has become very popular with whole families attending, competing, supporting and helping with the organization. This series is sponsored by, Acklams Motorcycles of Harrogate. Also in attendance were many of the landowners who most generously give their permissions for the use of their land for the events. The club would like to thank them all for the support they give. The club also organizes 3 other Trials during the year and these are well supported by riders from a wide area. Club members have been successful in 2009 in gaining championship places.
