Round seven of the eight round series British Trials Championship visited the home of trials Yorkshire at the weekend. In a very tough event James Dabill pulled him-self from a sick bed to sit firmly at the top of the championship on the Gas Gas with a clear winning margin over his nearest challenger Michael Brown. The expected fight for the win with Dougie Lampkin never happened when he retired from the event in practice with a suspected broken wrist. Sam Connor took the Expert A class championship with a round still to come with the well travelled Ricky Wiggins doing what he has promised to do all season and take an Expert B class win.
