Trevor Hunt Trophy Trial
Sunday September 20th will see the second running of the organised by the Wye Valley Auto Club. 2009 sees the event being upgraded to National status and will be round 7 of The ACU Normandale Products Traditional Trials Championship. The Trial will be road based, run over a single loop of 30 miles, taking in 15 groups. Old Wye Valley Traders groups such as Darkie, Slough Dingle, St Margarets, Hill lane, and Fedw will be used once again, plus newer land the club used in last years trial. Two routes will be available, Championship and an easier alternative. The Trevor Hunt Trophy will be awarded to the best rider in Class B Twinshock championship route. The Trial will start at the Crown Inn pub in the village of Longtown Herefordshire, HR2 0LT (map ref SO 325 285).BnB is available at the pub 01873 860217, also a local campsite, for more info 01873 860221.Entry maximum will be set at 100, regs will be on www.acuwesterncentre.org or available from entry secretary Dan Sanders 01981 259890 or 01981 250458.Closing date September 12th 2009.
