Despite the speculation concerning the future of the Yamaha powered French Scorpa trials machines official Scorpa UK importer Nigel Birkett now has the 2009 models available. Trial Magazine was at the Reeth Three Day trial at the weekend and it was good to see some of the new machines in action. Supported rider Darren Brice was on the SY 250cc two-stroke and had this to say about the new machine, “ The link-less rear suspension action is a definite improvement, the action is much quicker and smoother and believe it or not the engine feels so smooth, whether its because it’s a new machine who knows but it feels very nice”.
