The Manchester 17 promoted national trial once again boasted a bumper entry of 140 riders. With the sun shining during the day young Gas Gas rider Jonny Walker took the scalps of many of his rivals on the little 125cc to go home a happy man. On the hotly contested clubmen course Scorpa mounted Mick Boam had a superb ride with no one able to match his winning score of a mere 3 marks lost.
