Michael Brown (MRS Sherco) finished 3rd at the first round of the British Championship organised by the Scarborough & District Motor Club on the 1st March. There was a really good crowd for a British championship, and Michael had a lot of support as he was riding on home territory. He started well with cleans on the first 4 sections but fived section 5... then carried on riding well but also fived 13 and ended the lap joint leader with James Dabill on 15 and Dougie Lampkin on 18. Michael didn't start the 2nd lap as well, he had a 3 on section 2 and another on section 9 which would see him drop below Dabill and finish on equal marks with multi world champion Lampkin... the most cleans tie-break going in Dougie's favour. Michael commented after the event..  "I have really enjoyed the trial today but I am disappointed with the result as I have made some mistakes on the second lap. The sections have been very good and the organisation has been excellent. I would like to thank all the public who supported me today and also to Shaughan and Malcolm for doing a great job"
Next trial for “Pune” is the Madrid indoor then a return home for the Scottish round of the BTC where he will be fighting for the win!!!!!
