Re: brit champs results 30 5 10

It was close between Michael and Alexz on the last lap... but wiggy got in the second best lap of the day i believe to grab 3rd.
Very much enjoyed the trial, it was a good balance between big balls out steps and very technical stuff. In fact most of the marks were lost on the technical stuff as the huge steps posed little problem. The 1.30 time limit worked well as it allowed good trick riding to be rewarded but also just allowed riders to go for a 3 if they had made a mistake rather than just give up.
I took about 220 images and have put around 70 in a gallery... and it was good to catch up with John Hulme for a chat, but I hid my camera in embarrassment. Mine is a bit small compared with his!! smile

well yes in the final results, but look at the scores after two laps... it was level and at the time i thought Michael may get into the groove for a final lap push. As it turned out Wiggy put in a stunner of a lap to pull well clear.

The mighty atom is riding well at the moment, all he needs is some confidence in his riding. Just remember he won the SSDT on observation it was only the machine not starting that cost him the win!

Re: brit champs results 30 5 10

Biggest problem our guys have is sponsorship and level of support... no British based team is riding the worlds at all, all our riders have Italian or Spanish backing. If they drop to below the performance level a team or factory thinks is the level to let them go at, then I am guessing that that rider will probably not contest the World rounds again. Apart from UK or very close events that don't cost too much to enter.
